John Proctor… Hero or Stooge?

John Proctor, hero or stooge? I Believe John is a HERO but a bit of a stooge! He’s was a hero because e he was a very straight forward man. Never lied and never believed in witchcraft, witches and all the beliefs they had going on!
Proctor also had problems with Elizabeth (His wife), and abigal a girl he had an affair with, wich made him look foolish. I strongly believe he is hiding something. He looks like he took the right path but is also keeping some secrets.

Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God

I believe this situation is nonsense. They are demanding people to not sin, and that also means its forcing people to be perfect which is impossible!
It wrote that people will be severely punished if committed a sin; I truly believe its okay to make a mistake but the problem is if you learn from it or not. People have natural rights and one of these rights states that a person can do anything that would please him. And the word “Perfect” has many reasons if you think deeply.
The perfect society could be defined as one in which every person lives freely, with their best  possibilities ultimately realized to the full.  It is more usual in human society for the wealthiest to be free to realize their potential while the remainder has limited time and freedom.  Many of these still find the right opportunity, and do well in work that brings out their talents and gives them much satisfaction.  But many others lose, or never even know they had, great possibilities within  them. They are bound to work at others behest, in circumstance far from ideal, often for long hours, at a return that is marginal once the unavoidable costs of being in that situation are met.  And, if we  accept the study data, the mere fact of, and awareness of  the wealth disparity and social gap by the less fortunate,  badly affects their biology and psychology -  let alone their access to health care or (expensive) legal rights.”

Arrivals... There Goes the Neighborhood

My travel to America was a new experience to the west! Like what we said in class, I felt a bit handicapped. It was new everything! New people, new places, new culture!  But I was never lonely even though when I walked alone. Now living in Chicago with a new family and new neighborhood, it feels weird. Back home but I have 2 maids and 1 driver. But here I have to do laundry and have chores to do. I have to take the bus or trains, not like in Kuwait just call the driver and the car would be ready!!

I hope I will adapt to this America very soon J

Introduction

Introduction

Hey! My name is Meshaal AlEnezi, I’m 16 from Kuwait. I’m also an exchange student studying at Whitney Young High School! I love it here in Chicago; it’s a big city and is very diverse. I have been to many countries across the world but this is my first time in America and its awesome! I hope I get to know more people and learn American Literature.

I am the eldest of all my siblings. I have 3 brothers (15, 4, 11 months) and 1 sister (13 Yrs.). My father is a general surgeon and my mother is an Arabic teacher. My family back home is very supportive and I would stand up for them! I miss all my friends and family members but I’m also patient.

I’m an ordinary person looking for perfection. My life goal is to be a doctor like my father. I Love to play soccer and swimming. My favorite soccer club is Real Madrid and I love the player Cristiano Ronaldo. My lucky number is 7. Like I said before I have been to many countries across the world like to Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Egypt, Iran, Dubai and more! So I have a hobby of collecting different types of money from all over the world!

I currently live with a host family on Roosevelt Road. I have a host mom and sister. My sister is Alexus Williams; she is also a in Whitney Young, a junior.  They take me downtown and incredible places every once in a while.

My goal in this year in America is to be a great ambassador for Kuwait, to set good examples by my good actions. And to just switch ideas around and show people how we do things.
